Review by hotel critic
The restaurant at the KP Hotel offers a culinary experience that perfectly complements the stunning surroundings of this beautiful estate. As an enthusiast of craft Gin, I was delighted to learn that the hotel is home to an artisan distiller of craft Gin, located in the historic Barmby Moor House. the attention to detail and dedication to quality in their Gin-making process truly shines through in every sip. the menu provided a tasty selection of breakfast options for both adults and children, including English breakfasts, toasties, and sandwiches. the ambiance of the cafe was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a relaxing meal to start the day. One of the highlights of my stay was the scrumptious afternoon tea offered to guests. the selection of sweet and savory treats was simply delightful, and paired perfectly with a cup of tea. To the afternoon tea, guests also have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary use of the outdoor Nordic spa and a rejuvenating 30-minute spa treatment. While the dining experiences at the hotel were exceptional, I did venture out to nearby restaurants for variety. Unfortunately, I found that breakfast options at other establishments were not as impressive, with a standard menu and ordinary bread for toast. However, this only served to highlight the culinary expertise and innovation at the hotel's restaurant. Overall, my dining experiences at the KP Hotel were truly memorable. the combination of delicious food, serene ambiance, and exceptional service made for a gastronomic journey that I will not soon forget. Whether indulging in a hearty breakfast at the cafe, savoring a luxurious afternoon tea, or enjoying a gourmet meal at the hotel's restaurant, the culinary offerings at the KP Hotel are sure to delight even the most discerning palates.
